Scott’s Seafood Reataurant in Jack London Square – Great for Celebrating Special Occasion

It was my best friend's birthday.  We had dinners in many different restaurants before, including the famous restaurant in Berkeley.  We also celebrated our birthdays or special occasions in this restaurant a few times.  But nothing could be better than the experience that we had last weekend.  When I reserved the table via Open Table,... San Francisco Palace Hotel – Historic Tour and Lunch – my favorite program for out-of-town guests

My Notebook

The Iconic San Francisco Palace Hotel

http://www.sfpalace.com/

The Palace Hotel located at 2, New Montgomery Street in downtown San Francisco, has been my favorite place to entertain friends and family who come to visit San Francisco.  The Garden Court with its stained glass dome, is spectacular.  The guests that I treated here were all very impressed, not only by the beauty of the hotel and the restaurant, but by the historic tour conducted by the volunteers of the San Francisco City Guides, a program of the San Francisco Library. http://www.sfcityguides.org/

I am posting a few pictures here to share with you.  Below is a link  to the historic photos of this hotel.  You may like to compare the then and now.

All my friends know that coffee is an important part of my life.  Wherever I go, I need to get some coffee.  To me, it is not the quantity nor the quality that matters, but the lifestyle.  When I looked back at my trip to Vienna some years ago, the most enjoyable treat to myself...
